Italian jewellery designers choose precious materials for 2004

Italian jewellery designers are turning to precious metals and coloured gemstones for their latest collections.<BR/> <BR/>BIBIGI has found that market response to the company's collection with onyx in white gold was positive, with the yellow metal also proving hot in 2004. <BR/> <BR/>Jewellery manufacturers are opting for stones in pastel shades, usually accented with small diamonds or other coloured gemstones, to reflect spring trends, as consumers appear once more to be happy to show off their gold accessories.<BR/> <BR/>As the world economy bounces back, designers are moving away from semi-precious stones towards precious metals and vibrant precious gemstones for 2004.<BR/> <BR/>Colours have become an essential element in jewellery designs in the last few years as jewellery moves further into the fashion world.
