A £60 million collection of Faberge eggs has been displayed in Russia this week, purchased by Russian business tycoon Viktor Vekselberg.<BR/><BR/>The Russian oil and metals magnate is so keen on the rare Faberge Imperial Easter Eggs that are decorated in gold that he now plans to seek out other luxury authentic Russian artefacts.<BR/><BR/>He explained to Reuters: "We want to find, acquire and return to our homeland objects of Russian culture and art."<BR/><BR/>The top of the collection on show in Moscow's Kremlin is the gold Coronation Egg that was commissioned by Tsar Nicholas II and is one of the most valuable objects made by Faberge.<BR/><BR/>This was the first Russian showcase for a number of decades of the eggs, which are between seven and 30 cm tall and are adorned in jewels.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2656440"/>
