Tuesday, 25th May 2004 (6298 views) The Russian jewellery industry needs to develop international export relations according to a chairman of industry and commerce.<BR/><BR/>Speaking at a discussion for the jewellery market and international cooperation, chairman of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Committee of precious metals and gemstones, V.Rudakov, discussed souvenirs, watches and jewellery exhibition.<BR/><BR/>Mr Rudakov argued the rapid development of the Russian jewellery industry could be boosted and supported by better export relations and a consolidation of the industry in Russia itself, according to Jeweller Net.<BR/><BR/>Key issues identified by Mr Rudakov were rules governing jewellers' behaviour, problems and questions to be solved at public jewellery organisations and VAT for precious metals buying.<BR/><BR/>It is hoped by focusing on these areas Russian jewellers will be able to compete in the world market.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=2689287"/>
