The Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA) in Tomah has been showcasing the gold prospecting sector in its Gold and Treasure Show.<BR/><BR/>Tomah GPAA was set up by gold prospector Mike Flint around two years ago in a bid to get others interested in the hobby and the association.<BR/><BR/>This weekend saw the chapter come to the OmniCenter in Onalaska in Wisconsin, catering for all levels of prospectors.<BR/><BR/>Show coordinator Nancy DeFalco told the La Crosse Tribune: "We have everything here to do with gold prospecting - metal detectors, spiral pans, dredges and rocker boxes.<BR/><BR/>"There are lectures and jewellers, anything you can think of to do with gold prospecting."<BR/><BR/>In addition, visitors could meet Tom Massie from 'Gold Fever' and Perry Massie from 'Prospecting America'.<img src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=3644888"/>
