With jewellery trends appearing to change every week, the latest look for fashion lovers is the vintage brooch, according to the Scotsman.

A host of A-list stars have all been seen sporting the latest look including Sarah Jessica Parker, Drew Barrymore and Winona Ryder.

In addition, vintage look brooches also featured recently on the catwalks at Louis Vuitton, Prada and Dolce and Gabbana, offering a modern version of the traditional item.

A host of retailers are now offering brooches to accessorise jumpers, ponchos, shawls and pashminas, including Jon Richard at Debenhams, Accessorise and Kookai.

Consumers can also purchase brooches in a host of jewellers, available in a selection of precious metals including silver for a more casual look and gold to glamour things up.
