Indian jewellery shop Viswas Gold City has announced it is offering special jewellery based on the temple lord Ayyappa.

As well as offering fans of Ayyappa, special 24-carat gold pendants, the pendants themselves have been blessed at the Mahalingapuram Swami Ayyappan Temple too.

The jewellery is being launched as part of the holy pilgrimage season of Sabarimala and wearing such items is considered to bring joy and prosperity, according to News Today.

In addition, the store is offering multi-religion 24-carat gold figurines of gods and goddesses for the first time, with a special exclusive range of children's jewellery also available on one floor.

The shop is situated in Kodambakkam and has four floors full of gold jewellery and accessories and only stocks specially hallmarked gold.
