Wednesday, 20th April 2005 (6231 views) Jay-Z is to launch a new range of limited edition luxury watches in order to celebrate his tenth year in the music industry.<br/><br/>The hip-hop star will offer watches in rose gold, platinum or stainless steel, working with Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piquet.<br/><br/>He told the New York Post: "I've always been a big fan of Audemars Piguet. I didn't pitch [Audemars Piguet] on it, it was something he came to me with."<br/><br/>Only 100 of the timepieces will be created, with rose gold and platinum the most exclusive with only 30 and 20 made from each precious metal accordingly.<br/><br/>The timepieces will range in price from $24,000 to $100,000.<br/><br/>To add even more style to the purchase, consumers who buy one of the limited watches will receive a specially engraved iPod with Jay-Z's albums already uploaded onto it.<br/><br/>The 35-year-old star co-designed all the items, picking Audemars Piquet for the brand's "quality and integrity".<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8316338"/>
