Tuesday, 26th April 2005 (6954 views) Top UAE jeweller Damas has opened its 118th outlet this week in a new deal with the Lulu Group.<br/><br/>The jeweller is well known for bringing a host of top names to the UAE and its new store in the Lulu Hypermarket in Ajman will sell 22-carat gold items only.<br/><br/>This is now the seventh store Damas has opened with the Lulu Group, according to AME Info.<br/><br/>Tamjid Abdullah, deputy managing director at Damas, said: "This tie-up with the well-known market chain of Lulu Group, to open Damas showrooms at all of their hypermarkets is a partnership that Damas values.<br/><br/>"Damas partnerships are marked by a mutual respect and amicability that have set new standards in corporate endeavor, looking beyond the immediate present and guaranteeing a long term relationship of growth based on trust."<br/><br/>Among the big names Damas has bought to the gold jewellery buyers in the UAE are Roberto Coin, Scavia, Balocchi Preziosi and Mikimoto.<br/><br/>Damas feels it has a huge responsibility in its role as a leading jeweller in the region, especially since winning the Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders Best Service Provider.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8361770"/>
