Friday, 20th May 2005 (5654 views) The Aarens Group has announced plans to launch speciality malls across India, including Chennai.<br/><br/>According to director G S Pillai, the Rs 300 crore company is planning to cover Gurgaon, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Kochi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata in its first phase.<br/><br/>Each of the malls will need investment of around Rs 80 crore to Rs 110 crore and it is hoped building will be complete in two years.<br/><br/>In addition, it is looking to open a Gold and Wedding Souk in Kochi.<br/><br/>The Chennai souk will cater to gold and wedding markets and the home market, with work expected to begin in October or November this year.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8547258"/>
