Wednesday, 25th May 2005 (6159 views) Global television anchor Lesley MacDonald was adorned in gold as she hosted the recent Government of Canada dinner for the Queen.<br/><br/>Ms MacDonald accessorised her black satin dress with jewellery by Diamori, from her friend Roger Morton.<br/><br/>She wore an 18-carat yellow gold diamond-set neckpiece with two carats of diamonds and 18-carat gold earring, with pear-shaped diamond drops.<br/><br/>In addition, an 18-carat yellow gold bangle glistened on her wrist along with an antique style 18-carat gold ring with sapphires and diamonds.<br/><br/>"I eventually borrowed a gown and $30,000 worth of jewellery," Ms MacDonald told the Edmonton Journal.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8586306"/>
