Minmet makes significant gold discoveries in Dom Rep

Minmet has revealed that it has made a significant new gold discovery in the Dominican Republic.<br/><br/>The Dublin-listed exploration firm has received positive results after recent drilling at Cerro Dorado by its subsidiary GoldQuest Mining.<br/><br/>A total of five holes were drilled at the site at a total of 251 metres, hoping to ascertain the contact of the mineralisation.<br/><br/>The discovery is well exposed in a creek that had been channel sampled.<br/><br/>Minmet has shares in a host of gold mines and companies including Bjorkdal gold mine, EMML, GoldQuest Mining and North American.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8596907"/>
