Clinton goes jewellery shopping in India

The former president of America, Bill Clinton, has been seen shopping for jewellery in India on a recent trip.<br/><br/>Among the items viewed by him were a 22-carat Ladakhi gold necklace studded with rubies and a semi-precious stone-studded necklace and cufflinks.<br/><br/>As part of the shopping trip Mr Clinton was looking for jewellery for his daughter Chelsea and was said to be very careful with his choice.<br/><br/>He told Times of India: "She's very particular about what jewellery she likes."<br/><br/>On viewing a suitable gold necklace, he said: "I'll take this and let her choose the rest when she comes to India."<br/><br/>Reports revealed Mr Clinton spent nearly an hour shopping for Indian artefacts and jewellery.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8604887"/>
