Friday, 27th May 2005 (4032 views) Three highly unusual gold music discs are to be auctioned at a banquet to raise money for the Royal Hall in Harrogate.<br/><br/>The discs, provided by Our Price, commemorate the musical legends Paul McCartney, Bob Hope and Cliff Richard.<br/><br/>Sealed bids will be accepted for the discs, on which a reserve price has been set because of their value.<br/><br/>"Obviously it depends on who is in the audience but these discs have fetched thousands of pounds in previous auctions," a spokesman for Our Price told Harrogate Today. <br/><br/>"Each disc is unique and fans are lucky to have such an opportunity. They really are valuable collectors' pieces."<br/><br/>The banquet, including champagne reception and four course dinner, will be held at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8605881"/>
