Mining firm Solomon Resources has reported positive results from tests carried out at several of its projects in Mongolia.

Extensive gold mineralization was found at the Onon project. The survey covered six square kilometres and further drilling is expected to begin in early November.

Drilling of eight core holes at the Bayantsagaan project was completed and samples have been sent back to Canada for further examination. Results are expected by the end of the month.

The 'qualified person' supervising these Mongolia projects is David Tupper. Mr Tupper verified the initial results.

Solomon is based in New Brunswick, Canada and along with the work in Mongolia has gold mining projects in the United States, Indonesia and Australia.
