H&R, a company who makes special springs for sport, has comes up with an especially extravagant gold spring.

Made out of 24-carat gold, they are set to become one of the most luxurious suspension components for cars ever made.

H&R's gold springs will set motorists back a further £1,350 on top of the cost of your average springs and the first order came from the owner of a Ferrari 430 Spider form Dubai.

The luxurious springs will be showcased at the Essen Motor Show which is one of the world's most important expos. H&R is also the official supplier of the DTM racing series.

H&R has been making premium suspension parts for motor vehicles for 20 years and uses German craftsmanship plus premium wire to provide well-engineered and durable springs.

Good springs are essential to a consistent, trouble-free and superb ride in a car and provide more accurate handling.
