Wednesday, 28th March 2007 (5799 views) International jewellery and watch retailer Damas has unveiled its latest Faberge collections at its exclusive boutique in Qatar.The collections launched were Xenia, Signature and Parapluie. Featuring in the Xenia range are necklaces, earrings and rings in a choice of 18-carat yellow and white gold, the Gulf Times reports. Miniature Easter eggs were showcased as part of the Signature collection, while the Parapluie line included items described as "distinct", with designs that are "austere yet dainty". Speaking at another Damas launch in Dubai, Dr Marcus Mohr, president and creative director of Faberge Jewellery and Watches, said the appeal of the brand's creations lay in their romantic, enduring nature. "In many parts of the world where Faberge is present, there is always an exclusive segment that prefers timeless beauty over passing trends, the romance of hand-made over the mass produced," Dr Mohr said. Tamjid Abdullah, deputy managing director of Damas, described it as "an honour" to be working with an "esteemed brand" such as Faberge.
