Jet starts work on NaskeenaWednesday, 23rd May 2007 (2200 views) Jet Gold Corporation has announced that a diamond drill programme of work will begin on its Naskeena coal property this month. So far about half of the forecasted 3,000 feet of drilling proposed at the site has already been completed as phase one of work and now work is continuing immediately onto the second phase. Jet Gold has been focussing on proving out the cola beds as recommended by Monckton and Brewer back in 1914 but full lineation will probably be needed on the project before the summer is out. Good intersections with gold mineralisation have so far been made with flatter bedding angles often discovered which are typically 12 to 20 degrees versus the 25 to 27 degrees described. Additional hole results are being waited for and detailed core logging is also underway. Naskeena was acquired by the firm in 2006 and it is located in British Colombia. Jet is a Canadian resource company.
