Gold delivered at PicachoWednesday, 20th June 2007 (2126 views) A phase one drill programme by Lateegra Gold Corporation at El Picacho, Sonora, Mexico has revealed quantities of gold.The drill programme was designed to confirm and expand upon previous data collected from 22 existing drill holes and consisted of 2,569 metres over 14 drill-holes. Results from phase one demonstrated 6.13 metres grading 4.73 grammes of gold per tonne (g/t) in drill hole MPDH07-014, 9.43 metres grading 7.80 g/t in drill hole MPDH07-002 and 11.28 metres grading 15.57 g/t in hole MPDH07-013. "We are now aware of the plunging, high grade ore zones within the El Picacho structure and will be targeting some of these ore shoots in our second phase drill programme," commented chief executive officer of Lateegra Chris Verrico. He added that the data collected has helped his drilling team to better understand the El Picacho structure. Mr Verrico also noted that the El Picacho structure is to be the focus of the phase two drill programme.
