Tuesday, 26th June 2007 (2107 views)

Panama-based mineral exploration company Bellhaven Copper & Gold has announced it has completed its six-month objectives and has released its aims for the coming half-year.

Among the company's achieved objectives is its completion of necessary sampling at its Cerro Chorcha drill programme in Rio Liri and its optioning of the Los Hatillos/Higui concession in the Veraguas gold belt.

Furthermore, Bellhaven is continuing to evaluate and assess new exploration targets in prospective regions of Colombia and has established a Colombian subsidiary, Aurum Exploration Columbia.

"We are very enthusiastic about the progress the company has made over the last six months and are confident that the next six months will be at least as productive," commented Julio Benedetti, a Bellhaven spokesperson.

New targets set by the gold exploration company for the next six months include completion of the 3,000-metre programme which is underway at Cerro Chorcha and an update of the 43-101 report on the property.

Other targets include completing the 2,000-metre drill programme at Rio Liri as well, as advancing exploration work at the Azuero and San Pedrito properties while additionally looking for joint venture partners for the properties.
