NewWest Gold announces estimates

Exploration mining company NewWest Gold has filed a National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) report in regards to its Sandman project in Nevada, US.

According to the report, the total contained gold equivalent ounces attributable to the company's Zaca and Sandman project stands at 595,100 measured gold ounces and 1,199,800 indicated gold ounces.

Inferred gold resources at these properties measure 239,000 contained gold equivalent ounces, NewGold reports.

"Michael Gustin, of Mine Development Associates, Reno, Nevada, is NewWest's qualified person as defined by NI 43-101 and has reviewed and approved the technical data," a company statement noted.

NewWest holds approximately 623,000 acres of mineral rights in Nevada's gold trends, including 19 exploration projects.

The company recently reported high-grade gold mineralisation Abel Knoll discovery at the Sandman project.

It's AK07-28C hole uncovered 335 feet of continuous mineralisation at a grade of 0.075 ounces of gold per tonne while AK06-23 showed 335 feet of continuous mineralisation from 285 to 620 feet at a grade of 0.115 ounces of gold per tonne.
