More high-grade mineralisation at Red LakeTuesday, 23rd October 2007 (2032 views) Further high-grade gold mineralisation has been intersected in the West Granodiorite Zone of the Rahill-Bonanza gold project during an ongoing drilling programme, Premier Gold Mines has announced. The six-hole drilling programme was designed to investigate the potential of high-grade gold mineralisation in an area that was previously thought to be a bulk-tonnage target. Further drilling is now underway to test the Mine West target on the Rahill-Bonanza project, which is currently being explored jointly by Premier Gold Mines and Red Lake Gold Mines. In addition to drilling carried out at Mine West, the company has mobilised a fourth drill, which will be used in a deep drilling operation at the site's Bonanza deposit, intended to establish the continuity of mineralisation up to 1,600 metres below surface level. According to the company, current drilling operations on the project are part of a two-year exploration programme intended to test a variety of prospective targets on the Rahill-Bonanza gold property. Canada-based Premier Gold Mines has interests in six gold properties in Canada, particularly concentrated in north-western Ontario, as well as a joint gold exploration venture in Santa Teresa, Mexico.
