Results from a soil sampling campaign undertaken on the I Monti property have shown a large gold-in-soil anomaly, Adroit Resources has announced.

The campaign on the property, which is located in central Italy, was carried out on six separate lines ranging in length from between 750 metres and 1,300 metres and spaced around 250 metres apart.

Some 225 soil samples from an average depth of 0.5 metres were collected in the survey, which were then sent to Filab Laboratoires in France for preparation.

According to Adroit Resources staff, the survey shows a "vast" gold-in-soil anomaly, which could extend over more than 25 hectares to the north-west and south-east, remaining open in both directions.

Graeme Rowland, chairman and president of the mineral exploration company, said that further drilling will be carried out on the site next year.

"The discovery of such a large gold-in-soil anomaly is very exciting and I look forward to the 2008 drill programme results," he said.

Adroit Resources is currently actively exploring for gold on properties in Italy and the Canadian province of Ontario.
