Amex acquires Cameron 2006 gold property

Monday, 29th October 2007 (1878 views)

The Cameron 2006 gold property, located in Lebel-sur-Quevillon, Quebec in Canada, will be acquired by Amex Exploration, it has emerged.

Amex Exploration will attain whole ownership of the property following the payment of C$5,000 (£2,540), the issue of 200,000 shares and a two per cent royalty payment to two prospectors.

Covering an area of 730.8 hectares of land, the company says that the property indicates areas of high gold potential, which it intends to explore with a diamond drilling programme.

The Cameron 2006 project is located in an area of high gold mineralisation, with the productive Discovery, Cartwright and Flordin properties located to the north-west of the project site.

Based in Laval, Quebec, Amex Exploration is a junior mining company which intends to explore gold and base metal projects and bring them into production.

The company, which changed its name from Coleraine Mining Resources in 2001, is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
