Friday, 23rd November 2007 (4704 views) Gold jewellery crafted by the Amrapali jewellery house in Jaipur is glittering on celebrities worldwide, according to news source Khabrein.info.The jeweller - which supplied gold items for the 2004 Oscar-nominated film Troy, starring Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom - is attracting worldwide attention thanks to celebrity fans, including actress and singer Jennifer Lopez. Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar has been spotted wearing Amrapali jewellery on at least two separate occasions, while Halle Berry attended a London Film Festival screening last month sporting gold bangles and earrings from the Indian retailer. Established in 1978, the jeweller claims to gain inspiration for its styles in unique items of jewellery from "the remotest parts of India". Amrapali jewellery is offered for sale in many parts of India, including the Khan Market outlet in New Delhi, as well as in the Knightsbridge area of London, England. The company is named after a courtesan from Buddhist times, who was famous for her beauty.
