Klondex Mines to present at Swiss gold conferences

Tuesday, 27th November 2007 (1810 views)

A conference to be held in Switzerland at the end of the month will see Klondex Mines review its exploratory progress, the company announced today.

Klondex will represented by group president William Solloway at the Academy & Finance Gold Investment Conference, which is scheduled to take place on November 29th in Geneva and December 3rd in Zurich.

The company's technical director Robert Sibthorpe is also expected to attend the event, where Klondex will detail progress on its Fire Creek high-grade gold deposit situated in north-central Nevada.

Fire Creek includes an indicated mineral resource of an estimated 1.64 tonnes - graded at 19.88 grams per tonne - and a total of over one million ounces of gold in two separate zones.

According to the company, the site is located in an area of "prolific gold production".

Yesterday saw Klondex announce more high-grade gold intercepts from the Phase Six drilling session, returning 18 grams per tonne at the FC0724 hole.
