"Encouraging" exploration by Canadian gold firmThursday, 13th December 2007 (2001 views) A report on a Canadian gold exploration firm has suggested that it has achieved "some very encouraging" drilling results, it has emerged.The report, conducted by CCM Research, focused on the work Nayarit Gold has been doing in the Orion mining district in Mexico, particularly as the firm has been under the guidance of a new management team since the summer. It stated that the company is "actively pushing" forward in the areas of exploration and public relations and that it has committed to creating a region of sustainable mining in the state of Nayarit by working in conjunction with the federal government of Mexico and local residents. Formed in 2005, the gold exploration company currently controls a number of mining concessions in the country, covering a total land area of 102,000 hectares. Recently, a Phase One drilling operation was carried out on the site, with targets on the Minas de Animas gold structure yielding values between 3.28 grams per tonne and 29.9 grams per tonne.
