Friday, 23rd May 2008 (2893 views) A new collection from Italian jewellery house Stefan Hafner features black gold in its designs, reports say.The Fiore collection is inspired by nature, according to jckindia.com, with designs reflecting "flower-laden stalks with twirling leaves and tiny buds". Each 'petal' in the design is dotted with black diamonds, it adds, while other designs feature white diamonds, rubies and pink and orange sapphires. Tawhid Abdullah of Damas Jewellery, which will carry the Fiore line in selected stores throughout the United Arab Emirates, said the collection is an "exciting" arrival thanks to its "rich tapestry of designs". "Stefan Hafner has captivated the world with his unique creations for over three memorable decades," Mr Abdullah added. The Stefan Hafner jewellery design house was established in Bologna, Italy, in 1967. Since then, the company has picked up a number of prizes for its designs, including accolades from the Couture Fine Jewellery Awards, the Art of Jewellery Awards and the DPS and JCK Jewellery Awards.
