Trelawney announces resultsTuesday, 24th June 2008 (475 views) All results have been collected for the winter drill programme of Trelawney Resources in Ontario. The 26-hole drill programme at the Mishibishu Lake property totalled 5,691 metres. Results include 5.6 g/t of gold over 0.5 metres, 5.23 g/t of gold over 1.1 metres and 4.08 g/t of gold over 2.3 metres. Wayne O'Connor, president and chief executive officer of Trelawney, said: "There appears to be a widespread pregnant gold system on Trelawney's land holdings in the Wawa gold camp as recent drilling has encountered gold mineralisation." He added the company was pleased with the style and degree of mineralisation as it is one of the key elements that appear in most productive Archean gold deposits. In January this year Trelawney announced it was exercising its right to earn a 50 per cent interest in the Dorset Property after investing over $2 million. Trelawney's joint venture partner at the property is MetalCorp.
