The discovery of a 20 foot intercept of 0.092 ounces per ton of gold equivalent has been announced by General Metals Corporation.

This result was included in a 140 foot intercept which averaged 0.029 ounces per ton of gold equivalent.

Continuity of mineralisation across a 500 foot strike length has been confirmed by these results.

Steve Parent, president and chief executive officer of General Metals Corporation, said the results give the company decision making confidence as: "The high grade and halo mineralisation exhibits excellent continuity along strike and the results continue to tie each section to the adjacent sections."

Other intercepts from the site include a 60 foot intercept of 0.058 ounces per ton of gold equivalent which was included in a 115 foot intercept which averaged at 0.024 ounces per ton of gold equivalent.

Another was a 20 foot intercept of 0.048 ounces per ton of gold equivalent included in a 70 foot intercept which averaged at 0.013 ounces per ton of gold equivalent.

Gold Metals Corporation works on gold projects in Nevada, North America and West Africa.
