Bonanza results expand gold grade valuesThursday, 21st August 2008 (552 views) Results from the Bonanza trench in Hedley have "significantly expanded" the high-grade gold values in the area.George W Sanders, president of Goldcliff Resources which owns the Bonanza trench in British Columbia, reported the results to include 5.366 oz/t of gold, 3.587 oz/t of gold, 3.762 oz/t of gold and 3.179 oz/t of gold. From 55 samples, the average result was 0.79 oz/t of gold. According to the company, "the high-grade zone appears to be open in a northerly direction and under overburden beyond the stripped area". Goldcliff Resources now plans to continue drilling at the trench area within the next few weeks. The Bonanza trench is part of the Panorama Ridge gold project. In other news, Vantex Resources has published results from a surface sampling programme at its Ortona property in Quebec. Of the 37 random samples collected, five produced gold values varying from 0.109 g/t of gold to 30.96 g/t of gold.
