Speaking at the Democratic National Convention in the US this week, senator Hilary Clinton decided to set off her outfit with a gold Marco Bicego necklace.

Vialuxe.com reported that the former first lady was wearing a bright orange trouser suit when she appeared at the convention where she has been supporting the Democrat's endorsement of Barack Obama.

The three-strand 18-carat gold necklace was from the Paradise collection of the jeweller.

Marco Bicego said of Ms Clinton: "She has true beauty and substance and is an inspiration to women everywhere.

"Her choice is also right on-trend, as yellow gold with coloured stones is a key look for the season."

According to the website, the Democrat has worn jewellery from the designer on previous occasions on her campaign trail, once during her June 4th speech and on several times during her visit to Puerto Rico.

Ms Clinton previously competed against Mr Obama to become the next Democratic presidential candidate.
