Thursday, 28th August 2008 (795 views)

The second annual Atlanta Contemporary Jewellery Show will take place on November 7th and 8th at the Defoor Centre, reports JCKonline.com.

At the show, 25 contemporary jewellery artists will showcase their work to the public.

Show director Debra Lynn Gold said: "The exhibiting artists at this show add an important dimension to Atlanta's thriving art scene by presenting unique and exciting wearable works of art in a wide range of prices."

Ms Lynn added that the wine reception held at the event will also enable jewellery fans to meet the artists.

Among the jewellers on show will be the 18-karat gold jewellery collection from Jamie Cassavoy, Patsy Croft's 18-karat and 22-karat gold cloisonne enamels and Kim Jones who constructs her gold pieces by hand.

Along with Ms Lynn, the exhibit has been orchestrated by Regina Imbsweiler and Leigh Griffin.

Ms Griffin is a goldsmith and Ms Imbsweiler founded the Goldsmiths Gallery in Buckhead, Altlanta over ten years ago.
