Production starts at Golden Rose

Production has begun at the Golden Rose Mine, reports Goldrea Resources and so far 3,150 tonnes of material has been stockpiled.

The company said it will wait until 20,000 tonnes has been created before sending the ore to the Daye Mill.

Indicated mineral resource at the mine is 2.67 million tonnes at a grade of 2.03 g/t.

A total of 50,115 metres of drilling across 169 drill holes was completed in order to produce this resource indication.

Significant results include 1.4 g/t of gold across 0.85 metres, 1.23 g/t of gold across 0.9 metres, 5.53 g/t of gold across 0.4 metres, 3.66 g/t of gold across one metre and 3.59 g/t of gold across 1.15 metres.

The company also has gold properties in the Shandong province of China. According to Goldrea Resources, Shandong contributes over a quarter (26 per cent) of China's total yearly gold production.

Recently the company purchased the Daye gold mine in the province.
