Friday, 19th September 2008 (1054 views) Mexoro Minerals has revealed results from eight extra drill holes at its Cieneguita project in Sierra Madre region of Chihuahua, Mexico. One hole provided 8.93 g/t gold across 23 metres, including an area of 32.4 g/t gold across 3.75 metres. Other significant figures consisted of 0.86 g/t gold across 48.8 metres and 1.1 g/t gold across 18.40 metres. Vice president of exploration Barry Quiroz remarked: "These results demonstrate the continuity and depth extent of main mineralisation on that portion of the system." He added that in order to test the full extent of the mineralisation within the zone, additional drilling is needed for the north-west section of the Cieneguita area. In the meantime, Timberline Resources - which has operations in the US and Mexico - has completed an in-house analysis of its Highlands gold project in Montana. Spokesman Paul Dircksen described the company's findings as "very compelling".
