High Ridge Resources reveals new appointment to board of directorsMonday, 29th September 2008 (273 views) Gold exploration firm High Ridge Resources has announced a new appointment to its board of directors.Hans Qvist from Oslo, Norway, will join the company after gaining decades of experience within the industry. His previous achievements include acting as executive chairman and director of Crew Gold and fulfilling the role of chief executive for a variety of organisations. President of High Ridge, Gary Anderson, commented: "Hans is a talented and proactive individual whom I have known and observed for several years. I believe that his considerable management expertise will be of great benefit to High Ridge." The firm has several large-scale exploration projects currently underway in British Columbia and Peru. Meanwhile, Zoro Mining recently announced that it had entered into an agreement with venture capitalist Michael Kobler for a joint project on the Escondida precious metals zone, located 60km from Copiapo, Chile.
