Monday, 10th November 2008 (1717 views) Ventana Gold has revealed that it has been approved for listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).The company, which will trade under the symbol VEX, commenced trading on November 7th 2008 having delivered strong results to date. Ventana has invested millions of dollars in its La Bodega property, which has never been drilled prior to its acquisition by the firm. Richard Warke, Ventana chief executive, commented: "We are pleased to bring Ventana to the public markets I look forward to an exciting year of growth for Ventana in 2009." Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Ventana Gold is currently drilling at La Bodega and completing phase one exploration at its California-Vetas property, which is immediately adjacent and along strike to Greystar Resources' Angostura gold deposit and covers 3,895 hectares of exploration property in Colombia. The historic California-Vetas mining district lies around 400km north of the Colombian capital Bogota and 40km north-east of Bucaramanga.
