Brides-to-be searching for a perfect gold engagement ring have been offered a new service by Joseph Schubach Jewellers.

The launch of the Bridal Ring Builder programme has come just before the busy festive season, when many men intend to get down on one knee in front of their girlfriend, chief executive of the company Joseph Schubach stated.

Customers of the service can customise their engagement ring, he remarked, even from the comfort of their own home.

The rings are available in either 14-c or 18-c, white or yellow gold, with classic or more contemporary styles available.

"With this kind of selection, there is almost certainly something for every taste and every budget," Mr Schubach said.

Meanwhile, a new range of eastern and Mediterranean-inspired elaborate cocktail rings and earrings using gold bevel settings has been unveiled by London-based designer Carri Vacik.

The collection includes a series of one-off pieces.
