Hidalgo Mining International has announced that it is planning to build a small pipeline at its Fifa prospecting site.

The company claims that the pipeline will lower production costs and increase profitability, with mining and production expected to begin on the Fifa land prospecting permit early next year.

Using a mechanised physical separation process to extract gold from the Fifa site, Hidalgo is currently trucking gravel to its processing plant, but the proposed pipeline would transport water directly to the mining operation to allow the gold separation process to take place on location.

Mark Daniel Klok, Hidalgo president, stated: "With all this in place we are one step closer to achieving our goal of becoming a junior gold producer."

Headquartered in Port Washington, New York, Hidalgo Mining is focused on targeting and acquiring near-term producing mining projects around the world in order to become an intermediate-sized gold producer.

The company recently signed a contract with North Bay Resources to engage in a joint-venture for the development of the Silver Leaf property.
