Monday, 24th November 2008 (1043 views) Representatives from Mon Arc have conducted an on-site inspection of the Andrea gold mine operation in Peru.The visit has generated a top line summary of the results of their field work and the management delegates have also had the opportunity to view the current operations of the mine, led by an experienced geologist. Representatives have received a full briefing on the status of the assays to date and the progress being made towards completion of the mine's form 43-101 filing, which will provide an analysis of the proven and probable reserves of the mine. Commenting on the trip, Mon Arc chief executive Yong Chan said: "Based on these initial reports, all parties are eager to finalise this acquisition." The Andrea mine in Peru is in the process of completing a merger and business co-operation deal with Mon Arc. Based in Lima, Peru, the exploration, mine operation, processing and commercialisation company operates the Andrea Gold III project in South America and has established a 50 tonnes per day gold processing plant in northern Peru.
